Analytics Deep Dive
The Analytics page in NotifyBubble gives you a detailed look at your notification performance with advanced filtering, charts, and breakdowns that go beyond the Dashboard overview.
Date Range Filtering
At the top of the Analytics page, you can filter data by time period:
- 7d — last 7 days
- 30d — last 30 days (default)
- 90d — last 90 days
- Custom range — pick any start and end date using the date picker
Changing the date range updates all stats, charts, and tables on the page instantly.
Stat Cards
The Analytics page shows six metrics (compared to the Dashboard's five):
- Total Views — total impressions across all notifications
- Total Clicks — total interaction clicks
- Click Through Rate — percentage of views resulting in clicks
- Unique Visitors — distinct visitors who saw notifications
- Button Clicks — CTA button interactions specifically
- Close Rate — percentage of notifications that were actively closed/dismissed by visitors
The Close Rate is unique to the Analytics page and helps you understand whether visitors are engaging with your content or immediately dismissing it. A very high close rate might indicate that your notifications are too intrusive or that the content isn't relevant.
Trends Chart
The trends chart shows a daily breakdown of Views and Clicks over your selected date range. Use it to:
- Identify peak engagement days
- Track the impact of new notifications you've launched
- Spot seasonal patterns in visitor engagement
Device Breakdown
This section shows how your notification performance splits between Desktop and Mobile visitors. You'll see:
- The percentage split between desktop and mobile
- View and click counts for each device type
This data helps you:
- Understand which device your customers primarily use
- Make design decisions (e.g., if most visitors are on mobile, test your notification's mobile appearance)
- Identify if engagement differs significantly by device
Engagement by Day of Week
A bar chart showing total Views and Clicks broken down by day of the week (Monday through Sunday). This reveals:
- Which days your store gets the most engagement
- Whether certain days of the week perform significantly better
- Optimal timing for launching new notifications or promotions
Tips
- Compare date ranges — switch between 7d and 30d to see if recent performance differs from the longer trend
- Watch the close rate — if it's rising, consider adjusting your notification's display behavior or content
- Use device data — if mobile dominates, make sure your notifications look great on smaller screens
- Plan around peak days — launch new promotions on the days that historically get the most engagement
