Per Notification Performance
The Analytics page includes a per notification breakdown table that shows you exactly how each individual notification is performing. This is one of the most useful tools for optimizing your engagement strategy.
The Breakdown Table
The per notification table appears below the charts on the Analytics page. Each row represents a single notification and shows:
- Title — the name you gave the notification
- Type — whether it's a Bubble or Text Box
- Views — how many times this specific notification was seen
- Clicks — how many times visitors interacted with this notification
- Button Clicks — how many times the CTA button was clicked
- CTR — the click through rate for this specific notification
Why It Matters
Looking at overall stats is useful, but the per notification breakdown tells you which notifications are actually driving results and which ones might need improvement.
For example, you might discover that:
- A Bubble notification on your homepage has a 12% CTR, while a Text Box on product pages has only 2%
- One notification gets lots of views but almost no clicks (the content might need to be more compelling)
- A notification with a specific CTA button label gets significantly more button clicks than others
Deleted Notifications
The table also includes data from deleted notifications. Even after you delete a notification, its historical analytics data is preserved. This ensures you don't lose insights about past campaigns.
Deleted notifications appear in the table with their original title and stats so you can still compare their performance against your current notifications.
How to Use This Data
Find Your Best Performers
Sort through the table to identify which notifications get the highest CTR. Look at what makes them successful:
- Is the content more concise?
- Is the CTA button more compelling?
- Is it targeting a higher intent page (like product pages)?
Identify Underperformers
Notifications with high views but low clicks might need:
- A more attention grabbing title
- Clearer, more relevant content
- A stronger call to action
- Different page targeting
Optimize Button Labels
Compare button click rates across notifications to learn which CTA labels resonate most with your visitors. "Shop Now" might outperform "Learn More", or vice versa, depending on your audience.
Tips
- Review this table regularly, especially after launching new notifications
- Use successful notifications as templates when creating new ones
- Don't be afraid to disable or delete underperforming notifications
- The data respects the date range filter at the top of the Analytics page, so you can compare performance across different time periods
