Understanding Your Dashboard
The Dashboard is the first thing you see when you open NotifyBubble. It gives you a quick overview of how your notifications are performing over the past 7 days.
Stat Cards
The Dashboard displays five key metrics at the top:
Total Views
The number of times your notifications were seen by visitors. A view is counted each time a notification loads on a visitor's screen.
Total Clicks
The number of times visitors clicked to interact with your notification. For Bubble type, this counts clicks on the bubble icon to open the panel. For Text Box, this counts engagement clicks within the notification.
Click Through Rate (CTR)
The percentage of views that resulted in a click. Calculated as (Total Clicks ÷ Total Views) × 100.
A higher CTR means your notifications are effectively engaging visitors. Typical CTRs vary, but anything above 5% is generally considered good for on site notifications.
Unique Visitors
The number of distinct visitors who encountered your notifications. Unlike Total Views (which counts every impression), this counts each visitor only once per session, giving you a clearer picture of your reach.
Button Clicks
The number of times visitors clicked the CTA button inside your notification panel. This is different from the general "clicks" metric, which counts panel opens. Button clicks specifically measure how many visitors took the action you wanted them to take.
Trends Chart
Below the stat cards, you'll see a trends chart showing Views and Clicks plotted over the past 7 days. This helps you spot patterns like:
- Which days get the most engagement
- Whether your notification performance is trending up or down
- Any sudden spikes or drops that might need investigation
The chart uses an area style visualization with Views in blue and Clicks in green.
Onboarding Guide
If you're new to NotifyBubble, the Dashboard also shows an onboarding guide with two steps:
- Create a notification — links to the notification editor
- Activate the app embed — links to the Shopify theme editor
This guide automatically updates as you complete each step and can be dismissed once you're set up.
Tips
- Check the Dashboard regularly to monitor your notification performance
- If your CTR is low, try revising your notification content or testing a different notification type
